Welcome to Chicagoland electric bikes. One of our favorite things (outside of Chicago style pizza & hot dogs) is getting people to try electric bikes.

There is something awesome about the killer grin on a riders face after their first electric bike ride :) Trust me, even the most poker-faced dudes & dudetts can't resist showing those pearly whites while riding an electric bike.

With gas pricing rising and the polar cap melting, electric bikes are making their way across America, but lots of people still have never even heard of an electric bike. Doing a casual survey, only about 1-in-30 people here in the Midwest know what an electric bike is. Even fewer have actually ridden on one.

We want to change that!

In addition to offering a great place to test ride a selection of electric bikes, we plan to spend a lot of our time actually going out to events and exposing people to the awesomeness of ebikes, by offering them their first test ride. SWEEEET!

We will be moving around and spreading the awesomeness of ebikes all over Chicagoland. Since we will be changing locations daily (like a food truck) the best way to find us is by connecting to one of our social media links. So be social & connect with us below. It would be kinda cool if you "liked" us too...but that's totally your call.

Our searchable address will also be updated daily, so if you Google us you should be able to find out if we are near you. Our calendar will be posted o our events page, but of course with crazy Chicago weather, it just might not be a great day for a bike ride. Riding an ebike in the rain...well is like riding a bike in the rain...just saying. So if the sun is shining and sometimes when it's not, you can test ride your first (or next) electric bike with us. If you have a location suggestion or want to organize a group for demo rides, just shoot us a note.

Free Local Delivery: We offer FREE Delivery for any new e-bike purchase within 25 miles of our store. Deliveries beyond 25 miles are charged $1.00/mile one-way. We reserve the right to charge additional fees on deliveries over 50 miles.

Follow up: You’ll be getting a minimum of two service-related contacts following your purchase. Expect a call from us about 7 days after your e-bike purchase. We’ll just be checking in to see if you have any questions about the bike and to make sure everything is performing properly.

30-Day Return Policy: Chicagoland Electric Bicycles has a 30-day in-store return policy. You may return any new e-bike within 30 days of its purchase for in-store credit. Online electric bike sales that are returned within 30 days will incur a 15% fee to cover the cost of original shipping (return shipping is at the expense of the buyer and is not provided). The bike must be returned with all manuals, charger, battery, keys and accessories that came standard or were installed on the bike by our service department. Chicagoland E-bikes reserves the right to make adjustments to the store credit based on the condition of the bike and may deduct for damage and unusually worn items. No deduction will be applied for standard wear to tires, brakes and chains. Chicagoland e-bikes reserves further right to (a) make adjustments to the store credit due to modifications made to the bike – whether it be modifications made by the customer or a Chicagoland e-bike technician at the customer’s request (b) exclude from this policy products where the customer is notified they are “non-returnable” such as closeouts, refurbished products, and those that were sold as “damaged” (usually minor) in which the customer was offered a discount for these stated conditions. Where a product is not new, Chicagoland e-bike will clearly state this to the customer prior to purchase. Floor models, unless otherwise stated, are considered new. Accessories: You may return any accessory within 30 days of purchase for full refund provided it is returned in saleable condition and with its original packaging and instructions. This excluded those marked as a closeout or otherwise non-returnable. Proff of purchase is required for returns. Items not purchased at Chicagoland E-Bikes are not returnable to our store. Return shipping of online purchases is the sole responsibilty of the buyer and buyer must obtain a return code prior to shipping, and use trackable insured shipping methods. Returns are not allowed after 30 days from date of receipt.

Accessory Discounts: We offer 15% off our regularly marked price on any/all accessory when you purchase that accessory with an electric bike. Additionally, we offer 10% off any accessory within 45 days of your ebike purchase. Chicagoland EBikes will occasionally offer coupons or special discounts. These will be honored during the specific discount time period if a customer mentions the promotional offer when they make their purchase.

Accessory Installation: Any accessory purchased with an electric bike that is designed to be mounted on the bike, will be installed by Chicagoland Ebikes at no charge. This does not apply to online purchases, however when possible Chicagoland Electric Bikes will include this service at their discretion.
